OLD FAITHFUL INN

Opened in 1904, the Old Faithful Inn is Yellowstone's most popular lodging facility, located next to the famous Old Faithful Geyser. The world's largest log cabin, the Old Faithful Inn boasts a huge 76 foot high atrium, lodgepole pine beams, balconies, log stairways, and a unique asymmetrical design. Many consider the Old Faithful Inn to be as much a part of the park as the geyser it is named after. The Inn offers a variety of room types ranging from rooms without a private bathroom all the way up to suites equipped with a refrigerator and a bedroom with two queen beds.


OLD FAITHFUL SNOW LODGE & CABINS

Built in 1999, the Snow Lodge is Yellowstone's newest full-service hotel. The Snow Lodge offers lodge rooms, western cabins and frontier cabins. With its location near Old Faithful Geyser and modern amenities, the Snow Lodge is a popular lodging choice. A long wall of windows look out towards Old Faithful Geyser, and there is a fireplace in the lobby. This is one of only two lodging facilities open during the winter months.


OLD FAITHFUL LODGE CABINS

Located near the Old Faithful Geyser, this cabin lodging facility offers frontier cabins with private bathrooms and budget cabins without private bathrooms. Excellent views of the Old Faithful Geyser can be enjoyed from the food court. Although these accommodations are relatively rustic, they offer an alternative lodging option for the budget-minded visitor. At this lodging facility, you will find more economical rates. Just don't expect the modern and/or luxurious amenities found at many hotels.


GRANT VILLAGE

Grant Village offers a pleasant lodging option at affordable prices. Located on the southwestern shore of Yellowstone Lake, this lodge is only 20 minutes from Old Faithful and is the closest lodging facility to neighboring Grand Teton National Park. There are also two restaurants with lake views, a gift store, and a lounge.


CANYON LODGE & CABINS

Located near the famous Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone River, the Canyon Lodge and Cabins are the most centrally located lodging facility in Yellowstone Park. The facility includes a lodge as well as pioneer, frontier, and western cabins. All rooms and cabins at this facility include private bathrooms. A full-service restaurant and cafeteria, deli shop, and gift store are available at Canyon Lodge & Cabins. Horseback riding is also available at nearby corrals.


MAMMOTH HOT SPRINGS HOTEL & CABINS

Mammoth Hot Springs Hotel & Cabins are located at Yellowstone Park Headquarters near the north entrance. The Mammoth Terraces are located near the hotel and cabins. The hotel includes rooms with private bathrooms as well as budget units without a private bathroom. Cabins include hot tub cabins, frontier cabins with private bathroom, and budget cabins without a private bathroom.


LAKE YELLOWSTONE HOTEL & CABINS

Restored in 1990, the Lake Yellowstone Hotel is reminiscent of the 1920's with sweeping views of America's largest mountain lake. Listed on the Register of Historic Places, Lake Yellowstone Hotel is the most luxurious lodging facility inside Yellowstone Park. The hotel includes a sun room overlooking the lake, and guests enjoy an elegant restaurant with an exceptional menu. This facility includes hotel rooms, pioneer cabins, and frontier cabins.


LAKE LODGE CABINS

This cabin lodging facility offers a real family atmosphere near the shore of Yellowstone Lake. The main lodge building includes a reception desk, gift store, family cafeteria, and two fireplaces. On the front porch, guest can sit and take in views of the lake and surrounding mountains. All of the cabins at this facility include a private bathroom.


ROOSEVELT LODGE CABINS

The most rustic lodging in Yellowstone National Park, the Roosevelt Lodge Cabins are located near Lamar Valley and Mount Washburn. The Roughrider Cabins do not have running water, and central bathrooms are located nearby. A restaurant, the western cookout, and horseback riding are all available here. This facility was named after Theodore Roosevelt, and it's a favorite of families, fishermen, and wildlife photographers. These rustic cabins are among the most affordable lodging options in Yellowstone; however, do not expect modern amenities.
